چکیده
Abstract A large number of researches have shown that circular RNA (circRNA) is new hope for the diagnosis or treatment tumors, including liver cancer (LCa). However, it remains largely unclear role circRNA in progression LCa and its molecular mechanism. GSE164803 microarray dataset was applied to identify dysregulated circRNAs noncancerous tissues. CircTUBGCP5 (hsa_circ_0034049) selected further research. Biological functions circTUBGCP5 were investigated by EdU, colony formation, flow cytometry, glucose consumption lactate production assay, vivo tumorigenesis. pull-down assay dual-luciferase reporter used investigate interaction between circTUBGCP5, miR-144-3p, ACSL4. We demonstrated significantly up-regulated tissues cells. promoted cell proliferation, anti-apoptotic ability, glycolysis, tumorigenesis at least partially sponging miR-144-3p regulate ACSL4 protein level. In conclusion, a forceful contributor malignant behaviors glycolysis via modulating circTUBGCP5/miR-144-3p/ACSL4 axis, which has provided target patients.

FoxM1 Promotes Glioma Cells Progression by Up-Regulating Anxa1 Expression
Forkhead box M1 (FoxM1) is a member of the forkhead transcription factor family and is overexpression in malignant gliomas. However, the molecular mechanisms by which FoxM1lead to glioma carcinogenesis and progression are still not well known. In the present study, we show that Anxa1 was overexpression in gliomas and predicted the poor outcome. Furthermore, Anxa1 closely related to the FoxM1 ex...
متن کاملCortactin promotes colon cancer progression by regulating ERK pathway.
Cortactin is upregulated in various cancers including breast cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and gastric cancer. However, the role of cortactin in the pathogenesis of colon cancer remains unclear. mRNA expression of cortactin in colon cancer samples and cell lines was detected by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR), while protein expression of cortactin in colon cancer tissues an...
متن کاملACSL4 promotes prostate cancer growth, invasion and hormonal resistance
Increases in fatty acid metabolism have been demonstrated to promote the growth and survival of a variety of cancers, including prostate cancer (PCa). Here, we examine the expression and function of the fatty acid activating enzyme, long-chain fatty acyl-CoA synthetase 4 (ACSL4), in PCa. Ectopic expression of ACSL4 in ACSL4-negative PCa cells increases proliferation, migration and invasion, whi...
متن کاملMusashi2 promotes the development and progression of pancreatic cancer by down-regulating Numb protein
Musashi2-Numb interaction plays a vital role in the progression of myeloid leukemia. However, its potential role in solid cancers has rarely been reported. We investigated the coordinate function of Musashi2-Numb in the development of pancreatic cancer (PC) in vitro and vivo. Both Musashi2 protein and mRNA levels were higher in PC tissues than that in paired normal pancreas (P<0.05). Musashi2 o...
متن کاملHistoneH3 demethylase JMJD2A promotes growth of liver cancer cells through up-regulating miR372
Changes in histone lysine methylation status have been observed during cancer formation. JMJD2A protein is a demethylase that is overexpressed in several tumors. Herein, our results demonstrate that JMJD2A accelerates malignant progression of liver cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, JMJD2A promoted the expression and mature of pre-miR372 epigenetically. Notably, miR372 blocks t...
